Where it all began.

Photography has always been my way of holding onto the moments that matter most: love, laughter, and the little details that tell a bigger story. For many years it ran alongside my career as a primary school teacher, but after 20 years in the classroom, I wanted a life with more creativity and flexibility, and photography gave me that - a way to combine my love of people, animals and the outdoors.

Most days you’ll find me outside, often with my horse, Disco, and dog, Dilly. Living with animals every day has taught me patience and instinct, and that helps enormously when photographing them. I understand their quirks, their personalities and the unspoken bond they share with their people, and I love bringing that to life in my work.

My years in teaching shaped me too. They gave me the ability to put children at ease, to connect with people quickly, and to create an atmosphere where everyone feels relaxed in front of the camera. Whether I’m photographing families, weddings, animals or schools, my approach is calm and natural, always focused on capturing images that feel genuine and full of life.

The countryside is my constant inspiration. It’s where I feel most at home and where so many of my sessions take place, providing the perfect backdrop for authentic, timeless photographs.

Most of all, I love creating images that mean something, photographs that reflect real connections and become treasured memories. I’d be honoured to tell your story too.
