Each spring, for a short time, the woods turn blue.

Bluebell mini sessions are a chance to step outside, slow down, and capture this fleeting moment in a simple, natural way. They’re designed for families (incuding children, ponies and dogs!) who want a handful of beautiful photographs without the formality or length of a full session.

Much of my work focuses on children and ponies, and these sessions are approached in the same calm, patient way - allowing space for curiosity, movement and quiet moments, rather than asking anyone to pose or perform. I’ll gently guide you where needed and photograph what naturally unfolds.

The sessions take place in carefully chosen Surrey woodlands near Reigate, selected close to the time to make sure the bluebells are at their best and the location feels quiet and unspoilt. Bluebells have a very short season, and once it’s gone, that’s it for another year!

Each mini session is £100. It lasts twenty - thirty minutes and includes a private online gallery, with three edited digital images to choose from. Additional images are available if you’d like them. What you wear doesn’t need much thought. Soft colours, layers and comfortable shoes work beautifully. Wellies are always welcome.

These sessions are photographed with care and respect for the woodland environment. We stick to paths and natural clearings wherever possible, ensuring the bluebells are left undisturbed so they can be enjoyed year after year.

Bluebell mini sessions are released in limited numbers and tend to fill quickly due to the short season.
